Search Engine Optimisation

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the process of increasing your websites visibility of in a search engine’s un-paid search results. This is achieved primarily through manipulating changing your websites keywords and structure, combined with offsite factors such as social indicators and links on other sites which point to your site. This is an crucial in the current marketing world as many of your customers will be using Search Engines right now to find the products or services that you offer.

We’ve been doing SEO at Bidmark for a while now & we see this type of marketing as one of the highest return on investments. However SEO can be hugely time consuming for business owners (outsourcing your SEO can save that time) but it is an important strategy to attract website visits, leads and sales.

Content Marketing / Blogging

Content marketing and Blogging work in a similar way by offering free, original content on your blog or website which can help bring new website visitors who are interested in that relevant content. Great blog posts keep marketing objectives in mind and often will include links to your website to prompt new visitors from a new source.

Pay Per Click (PPC)

Targeting these past visitors works extremely well as for a low cost you can work on getting those visitors to come back & convert. Retargeting is a lesser used form of digital marketing but when used correctly can have a huge impact on the way your traffic behaves when it comes to purchasing products or services.

Millions of people use Facebook, LinkedIn & Twitter every day & all types of demographics regularly use social networks. Facebooks targeting options allows markers to target ads to these people by various targeting options such as location, age, interests, job, company, friends of your current fans, or people who “like” certain pages. Similar to Google AdWords you can set a daily budget, pay for clicks, or pay when people see your ad.


With online video quickly becoming a key means for people to satisfy their information & entertainment needs, small businesses that fail to include it in their internet marketing strategies will do so at their peril. Creating video content can help your site be found by potential customers. Not only does Google index your content, but also your videos can be shared via other social media channels. Not every video needs to get a million views to be successful. Instead, the focus should be on a strong call to action that links your website & a compelling reason to why to do it once they have finished watching.

Email marketing is one of the oldest digital marketing channels available & is still one of the strongest ways to engage potential & current customers. A strong email marketing plan which is designed to compel readers to subscribe & encourage them to return to your website on a regular basis by showing new product & offers, recent blog posts, interesting whitepapers, or engaging videos.
